3-REGION SUMATRA ADVENTURE TOUR**

Duration:7 Days / 6 Nights

Destinations:  Bukit Lawang – Berastagi – Lake Toba (Samosir Island)

 Day 1: 30 June | Medan – Bukit Lawang (Jungle Trekking Day 1)

 Morning: Morning pickup in Medan and direct transfer to Bukit Lawang (approx. 3.5–4 hours drive).

 Mid-day: Arrival in Bukit Lawang, gear preparation, and immediate entry into Mount Leuser National Park to begin the Jungle Trekking** adventure.

 Evening: Arrive at the first campsite deep in the rainforest. Enjoy a traditional jungle dinner and overnight stay at the temporary *jungle camp* beneath the canopy.

Day 2: 01 July | Bukit Lawang (Jungle Trekking Day 2)

 All Day: Continue trekking deeper into the rainforest to explore Leuser’s rich biodiversity. Spot Sumatran orangutans, Thomas’s leaf monkeys, and other native wildlife.

 Evening: Reach the second campsite located by a pristine jungle river. Relax by the water, enjoy dinner, and spend another night camping out in the wild.

Day 3: 02 July | Bukit Lawang (River Tubing) – Berastagi

 Morning:Breakfast at the camp, followed by an exciting River Tubing ride down the river back to Bukit Lawang village.

 Afternoon: Pack up and start the overland journey toward the cool mountain town of **Berastagi** via the scenic Karo Highlands.

 Evening: Arrive in Berastagi, check-in to the hotel, dinner, and rest.

Day 4: 03 July | Mt. Sibayak Sunrise Volcano – Hot Springs

 Early Morning:Early wake-up call for a Mount Sibayak Sunrise Trekking  to catch the sunrise from the peak and explore the active sulfur crater.

 Morning:Descend the volcano and head straight to the natural Hot Springs** at the base of the mountain to relax and soothe tired muscles.

 Afternoon: Return to the hotel for rest or free time to visit the local Berastagi Fruit Market. Overnight in Berastagi.

Day 5: 04 July | Mt. Sinabung View – Sipiso-Piso Waterfall – Samosir Island

 Morning:Depart Berastagi for Samosir Island. En route, stop at a panoramic viewpoint to witness the majestic Mount Sinabung, then continue to the spectacular Sipiso-Piso Waterfall (one of Indonesia’s highest).

 Afternoon: Drive to the ferry harbor (Tiga Ras or Ajibata) to cross the majestic Lake Toba to Samosir Island.

 Evening: Arrive at Samosir, check-in to your lakefront hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax to the soothing breeze of the lake.

Day 6: 05 July | Exploring Samosir Island & Lake Toba Culture

 All Day: Full-day cultural and scenic tour of Samosir Island. Visit traditional Batak villages (Tomok and Ambarita), watch the traditional Sigale-gale puppet dance, and take in the panoramic lake views from the hills.

 Evening: The final evening in Sumatra. Enjoy a relaxed dinner by the lake. Overnight on Samosir Island.

Day 7: 06 July | Lake Toba (Relaxation) – Transfer to Medan

 Morning: Free time at leisure. The family can swim in the lake, rent bicycles to explore nearby villages, or simply relax with a cup of local coffee by the shore.

 Afternoon: Check-out, take the ferry back to the mainland, and transfer directly back to Medan (or Kualanamu International Airport) for their departure. End of Tour.

Quick Guide Tips:

 Trekking Prep:Remind the family to wear their trekking shoes and outdoor clothes directly from Medan on Day 1, and pack a small daypack with changes of clothes for the jungle nights. Their main luggage can stay securely in the transport vehicle.

 Teenager Energy: Teenagers love active experiences; the river tubing in Bukit Lawang and the sunrise trek up Mt. Sibayak will likely be their highlights. Make sure to get plenty of photos during these moments!
