Sumatera coffee tour with japanes

This time I am going to share my experince tour with japanes.This tour we 2 days 1 Night and stay in village.

the first meet them at hotel we start the tour on 10:00 am.from medan city we drive to sidamanik village and arrive at sidamanik meet with coffee farmers cimmunity and we start to harvest the coffee

after harvest the coffee we cintinue to proces it.the first we select the bad and good bean by water,after we sort out the coffee cherry bean and we cintinue for the first proces is coffee bean hulling or wellknown as wet hull.

this proses is the most proces coffee in nort sumatera.we still use manual traditional coffee hulling.after hulling proces we continue drying process,Sort,Roasting and the last we can try the drink coffee.

after coffee activities we stay one night at village,we eat together and sleep in village.

they looks enjoy the food and they said this the first time for them stay with local in village.so this tour really keep in touch with local,after breakfast we check out on 8:00 am and we visit Robusta coffee farm than we drive out from bandarmanik village than we visit bahbiak waterfall,Honey process,simarjarunjung hill to see the view of lake toba and drive back to medan.

before we drive back to medan we drink cofee at siantar than we continue our journey to medan city.

Hope this activities usefull for them and have good memory from north sumatra.
