Day 1: Medan Arrival – Bukit Lawang
Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, your guide will meet you for the drive to Bukit Lawang, the gateway to the Gunung Leuser National Park.
- Activity: Relax by the Bahorok River after check-in.
- Meals: Lunch at a local restaurant, Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Bukit Lawang Jungle Trekking & Landak River
A day dedicated to the deep jungle and pristine waters.
- Trekking: Embark on a jungle trek to spot Orangutans and other endemic wildlife.
- Waterfalls: Head to the Landak River to visit the Hidden Jungle Waterfall. The area is known for its crystal-clear water and serene atmosphere.

Day 3: Sibolangit Waterfalls – Berastagi
Travel toward the highlands of Berastagi, stopping for two major waterfall expeditions.
- Sikulap Waterfall: Visit Sikulikap Waterfall, a powerful 30-meter drop surrounded by dense tropical forest.
- Two-Colored Waterfall: A hike through the Sibolangit forest leads to the famous “Air Terjun Dua Warna,” known for its striking blue and grayish-white waters.

Day 5: Samosir Island – Waterfall Loop

- Efrata & Sidihoni: Visit Efrata Waterfall near the village of Sosor Dolok, followed by a trip to Lake Sidihoni, a rare lake located on the island of Samosir itself.
- Gibeon Hill: Stop at Hill of Gibeon, unique for its “waterfall swimming pool” where natural springs flow directly into a man-made pool.
- Meals: Breakfast at resort, Lunch in Pangururan, Dinner at the resort.
Day 6: Sigura-gura – Medan – Departure
On the final day, travel back toward Medan with a stop at one of the region’s engineering marvels.
- Sigura-gura: View the massive Sigura Gura Waterfall, which serves as a major hydroelectric power source for the region.
- Medan: Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight back to Malaysia.
- Meals: Breakfast at resort, Farewell lunch on the way to Medan.
Essential Preparation
- June Weather: This is generally the dry season, making it the best time for trekking, though afternoon tropical showers are still possible.
